New York has Prabal Gurung and London has Sanyukta Shrestha!
She is a London based bridal wear designer who is quickly progressing in her relevant field. Sanyukta was also one of the few mentioned on the International Nepali feature of ECS Living magazine alongside myself. Shrestha who is a London College of Fashion graduate worked for bridal design and retail industry for a good 5 years before setting up her own label.
The dresses look elegant and pure! FINE! Quite a portion of the materials of her designs are directly from Nepal and she maintains a close link to Nepal as most of the detail work for the dresses are done my hand in the Himalayan country. SKIP to 1:48 for Sanyukta’s designs on the YouTube video.
