The large number of Nepalis studying and working in Australia may have had an influence on the people of Australia as a new research revealed that Nepal saw the biggest increase in Aussie visitors with numbers increasing 211% from 900 in winter 2011 to 2800 in 2016. The figures have been obtained from the Australian Bureau of Statistics by finder.com.au. Whilst it’s easy to assume that the growing number of Nepalese living in Australia may have had an influence in Aussies choosing to visit the country, we have to remember the countless publications, travel magazines and global websites that have featured Nepal on Travel. Nepal has also landed on several lists compiled by well-known travel companies.

I hope the Aussies who have travelled to Nepal had a great time out there! Makes a change from the seaside.

  1. Nepal is one of the most beautiful places in the world and is a piece of heaven on the whole Earth. Nepal is blessed with its natural beauty and its natural diversities too. So-called places in Nepal which should be visited once before you die.
