A new establishment has arrived in the Kathmandu city and it’s one with many phases. It goes by the name Meconopsis Boutique Hotel and is located in Pulchowk. The boutique hotel is currently only operating ground and the first floor. Whilst the ground floor is home to a cafe and bar the first floor has a fully operational restaurant. Floor two up to floor eight have 11 exclusive luxurious apartments followed by a banquet hall which is strictly only for members on floor nine. And how can we forget to mention the spa, gym and aerobics suite on the floor eleven. Fitness suite with a view so you feel ready to take on the city!
Currently at the Meconopsis only the cafe/bar/restaurant area is functioning but in the near future they are planning to start operations on the apartments followed by a grand opening when the top floor fitness suite goes fully operational. If you were desperately running out of venues to hit up on Friday night then drop by Meconopsis, after all I don’t think anywhere else does the Jelly Shots as good as them 😉

It might be good for summer but , for winter no no. it’s open with no lounge. food is Ok and service is nice. I liked the outlook but still I could not feel if it was Botique hotel ?
Went there on NYE, the place was a joke, one lift or a 7 flight walk up the unlit stairwell, complete with dangling electrical wires. What a joke, boutique my chack!
