As more and more commercial buildings get constructed in Kathmandu the heritage sites are in danger of being blocked and sabotaged. Here is a picture of the new rumored to be ‘telecom’ building in Sundhara which has blocked the view of Dharahara; once the tallest structure in Nepal (9 storeys). The Dharahara was built by the PM Bhimsen Thapa to safeguard the city. I think the new building is Civil Apartments, constructed by the Civil Trading Groups but we’ll find out sooner or later.
Lahhhhhhhh aba dharahara needs to increase its height too .. lol
