Nepal Airlines Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to buy two Airbus A320 aircraft. The two-narrow body aircrafts will be delivered by February 2015. The airline had been flying its two very old B757’s on international routes to Bangkok, Delhi, Dubai, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. I recently heard that only one aircraft is currently in operation and that NAC no longer flies to Delhi. With the introduction of the two new aircrafts, NAC managing director Madan Kharel hopes to capitalise on tourism growth and to enhance Nepals network using the most fuel efficient aircraft available.

Well this round of talks seem more promising than the last one. Hope it works out for the best.
