Yeti Airlines Plants 41,600 Tree Saplings

Yeti Airlines FAR West Project

Not only is the colour of Yeti Airlines green but the airline also does its best to keep the environment green. As part of its corporate social responsibility the airlines planted 41,600 tree saplings in the Far Western Region in 2012 under its Green Far-West Project. Since the establishment of the Green Project the airline has planted 113,000 tree saplings and spent NRS 1.2 Million. The wonderful fliers of Yeti Airlines are helping this project as the airline donates Nrs 20 (one-way) for every ticket sold in the Kathmandu-Dhanghadhi and Kathmandu-Nepalgunj sector.

The airline will be moving its Green Project to Kathmandu in the near future. Wonderful. May the city folks be surrounded by lush green trees and hopefully parks as well (maybe another food for thought for Yeti Airlines).

PS. Free WIFI available for YETI FLYERS (Kathmandu Airport).
