Finally!!
Ani Choying Dolma will be joining the likes of David Beckham, Shakira, Amitabh Bachhan as an official UNICEF Ambassador. The Phoolko Aakhama singer is the first UNICEF Nepal ambassador. Dolma will be using her platform and reach to publicly voice against violence against children and adolescents.
The announcement took place in Kathmandy last week on April 11! Prez Ram Baran Yadav and UNICEF Nepal representative Hanaa Singer were also at the event. The event also saw the launch of the UNICEF Nepal song – check it out below!
“The original song was specifically composed for UNICEF Nepal, and is written by Durga Lal Shrestha, one of Nepal’s noted lyricists, with music by Nhyoo Bajracharya. Singers include Ms. Drolma, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Sanup Poudel, Sujil Karmacharya. Shruti Rajya Laxmi, Rekha Shah and Ciney Gurung.”

It feels really great to know these things.Congratulation Ms. Ani Choying Dolma and all Nepalese. But I strongly suggest to see the spellings used in the post like Kathmandy and Drolma, its really shameful.I know it happens sometimes but we should carefully check our post before posting it. 🙂
