Burmese democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi arrived in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport at 1230PM this afternoon. She is here on a four-day official visit. She will also attend an event by BP Memorial Trust and BP Thought Academy on the occasion of the late BP Koirala’s centenary birth celebrations starting June 14. As part of her visit she will be delivering a speech on the Relevance of Social Democracy.
Suu Kyi has visited Nepal several times in the past and also authored a book entitled “Let’s Visit Nepal”. She will be visiting Lumbini during her stay in Nepal.
