An exclusive VIP screening of 60 Second International Film Festival took place on Sunday 15th June at Cine De Chef in CTC Mall, Kathmandu. The 60-second films ideally focus on a particular theme and have a message to be conveyed to the audience. The Kathmandu event was organized by Open Space Nepal. The VIP screening saw the who’s who of Nepali cinema in attendance from the Maha Jodi, Nischal Basnet, Priyanka Karki, Saugat Malla and of course ME as well. The festival opened it’s doors to the excited public at the Kumari Cinema on Monday 16th July.
PS. I had a wonderful time! Very impressed with the organization! And the enthusiastic volunteers and the Open Space Nepal team. Hope they continue doing well and I hope they motivate many others too. The film festival itself was really nice as it brought the focus down to the story and made many of us realize that it’s not all about owning fancy cameras – at the end of the day, its about what you are going to address, show and capture.
