Thousands of people gathered at the Tundikhel ground on Saturday morning to form the largest human flag in the world. Human Value for Peace and Prosperity apparently gathered over 35,000 participants to break the world record which is currently held by Pakistan. The team will be sending photo and video evidence to Guinness Book of World Record as a proof of the event and the number of attendees.
Well done to the organizers for gathering such a large number of people! And people for participating and spreading the word. Personally, I do not really understand the whole idea of feeling ‘Nepali’ and being ‘united’ by just assembling over one area. That’s just my thought.
PS. Here’s another image that is making the rounds!
did they clean up after that?
