WINNER : Kingston University Nepalese Society

The third Inter-Uni Nepalese Dance Competition was organised by University of West of England Nepalese Network (UWENN) on Friday, June 12 in Bristol. Nepalese societies from Kingston University, Bedfordshire University and Brunel University took part in the annual competition hosted by the winners of the dance competition from 2014. Kingston University Nepalese Society won the competition with their beautiful dance to Rafting Bisaune and a Kauda number! The panel of judges consisted of NRNA UK Youth Council Coordinator and avid dancer Shraddha Gurung, Miss UK Nepal 2012 Durga Gurung and myself.

Aside from the competing dance performances, entertainment was provided by various guest artists through beautiful dances and soothing live music. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the day organised by UWENN – the event was also a fundraiser for NYANO SANSAR. Once again, well done to UWENN team for pulling off a show! The video from the events have been captured by Mani Ram Rai and Mahen Khanal – they’ve done a great job!

Congratulations Kingston University Nepalese Society and also to Bedfordshire Uni and Brunel Uni for taking part.
