Educational Materials Distributed at Nuwakot School

The Unite for Nepal team distributed educational relief materials to Shree Uday Jalapa Devi Secondary School in Thaprek VDC of Nuwakot District on the 20th of June. The distributed materials include a computer with a printer, notebooks, white-board and various school essentials. Over three hundred students are currently enrolled at the school which is now open after the earthquake. An event was held to mark the distribution, with attendance from members of the local community, students and teachers.
The programme was supported by Unite for Nepal team in the UK who worked closely with the International Development Institute in the USA. The International Development Institute organised the distribution of the relief materials. The team move forward with their clear vision in uniting the knowledge from different sectors to create opportunities that can allow Nepal to develop effectively with potential for future interventions.
