Nepalese Diaspora Stand Against The Indian Blockade

The Nepali diaspora have been gathering in large numbers to protest against the ongoing blockade imposed by India in Nepal. Many Nepalese gathered outside the Parliament Square in London during the time of the official visit by PM of India Narendra Modi on November 12. There were also a number of different non-Nepalese organisations and communities gathered to protest against PM Narendra Modi.

On Sunday, November 22 it was the turn of the Nepalese diaspora in the states as they gathered outside the White House in Washington DC to protest against the Indian blockade. Nepalese people living in Germany gathered outside the Indian Embassy in Berlin to protest against the blockade on Friday.

Many Nepalese gathered outside the Indian Embassy in Seoul, South Korea to protest against the ongoing blockade imposed by India. The protest rally commenced from Seoul Station and ended at the Hannam based Indian Embassy where their attempt to submit a memorandum was refused according to Chief of Support Nepal Foundation Yagyaraj Subedi.

A protest was held in Sydney, Australia on Friday Nov 20 where many Nepalese gathered with various placards and chanted against the imposed economic blockade.

  1. First of all with all due respect, you Nepalese people should really understand what really happening in your country before you march in front of my country embassy. What aftermath reaction coming from my government is just a foreplay your politician are doing. Every politician have price but your’s is cheaper. In a long run you all will know that you are being played by your politicians but it will be too late to act. So why fight something so inevitable. A small under develop country like Nepal cannot survive for long between two superpower and super economically developed nation. Your politicians know this and they are keeping their part of bargain deal. Hope you all understand this but I am truly sorry for all this. You are being played by your own government, sorry guys.
