Beat The Pollution With Your Own METRO-MASK!

With Kathmandu repeatedly topping the TOP 10 list of cities with the highest level of air pollution, we now have “Nepal’s first Hi-Tech Anti Pollution mask company, METRO-MASK”. It certainly makes you wonder, why did it take so long? If you’re tired of trying out the different cloth masks being sold in small shops to street stalls then Metro-Mask may be a good investment for yourself and your health.

Metro-Mask currently offer two different types of masks, the MOTO MASK: Ride Dirty. Breathe Clean. and the CITY MASK: Breathe Clean. Live Healthy. You may have spotted Prabal Gurung sporting a Metro-Mask recently! The designer donned the mask during his time in Kathmandu earlier this year. Popular model Aastha Pokharel and make-up artist Sizi Thapa also own the City Mask. While the tougher Moto Mask is priced at Nrs 3500, the City Mask is priced at Nrs 1500.

Metro-Mask can be purchased at many shops throughout Kathmandu and online through Kaymu and GoGazzab!

Moto Mask: RIDE DIRTY. BREATHE CLEAN.

Moto Mask is a tough duty air filtration mask that protects the users from dusty road conditions, harmful air pollution and cold weather while motorcycling, mountain biking, outdoor running and other outdoor sports and activities.

Product Description:

The outer shell of the mask is made of high-grade neoprene material used in diving suit for maximum breathability and comfort. The mask is washable after the filters are detached. The mask has a low profile design that fits under the helmets and goggles. The dual valve exhaust helps in one-way airflow, expels moisture and regulates temp preventing fogging in the goggles. The filter is made of a combination of active carbon and layers of non-woven material. It filters out 99.9% of all dust and particulates from the air. The filter is replaceable and is easily detachable from the mask. The mask also features an adjustable nose clip for maximum protection and a Velcro strap for a comfortable fit. The replacement filters can be purchased separately in packs of 3 for future use.
