JOON FESTIVAL 2019 IN PICTURES

The sun came out and so did the people in huge numbers! Joon Festival 2019 was a brilliant day with some incredible musicians from Nepal, Europe and America! Amazumi had the crowd grooving to her beats and Bartika Eam Rai had a wonderful moment with the crowd. The music event saw Neetesh Jung Kunwar back again – after all, the man is quite a hit right now! Mukti and Revival and The Edge Band brought out the classic and the recent hits.

The event took place at the Dummer Down Farm in Basingstoke on Saturday 22nd June, organised by Parcha and BFEST. I believe it’s the biggest Nepalese music event in the UK. It was my very first time attending this outdoor version of JOON Festival and I must say, it was an incredible event. The stalls, the food, the people and the music! It was top-notch! I will definitely make sure to go back next year – even if its just for the atmosphere. We just have to hope that the sun comes out as well.
