Starting the new year with a bang is Himalaya Airlines with the expected delivery of its second brand new aircraft Airbus A320-214! The 158 seater aircraft will be connecting Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Yangon in Myanmar.
The airline which currently connects Kathmandu to Colombo and Doha will start flights to Kuala Lumpur from February 10, 2017. With a frequency of five weekly flights between Nepal and Malaysia, Himalaya Airlines hopes to be the carrier of choice for workers and travellers of the two countries. Twice weekly flights between Nepal and Myanmar will commence from February 24, 2017.
