Nepal has set the world record for the Most People Reciting World AIDS Day Theme! Now it only took 18 people to set this world record which has been approved my recordsetter.com and ‘World Record Appreciation Society’. This took place on World AIDS Day (1st of December) when one of the leading participants Nikesh Thapaliya organized it along with the support of ‘Yes! Club World – Nepal’. Thapaliya was joined by a troupe of 17 other youths and teenagers who along with him said ”World AIDS Day 2011 Getting to Zero”, this has successfully given Nepal the world record title. ‘Getting to Zero’ is the latest tagline used in AIDS prevention programs in a bid to get the number of those infected with HIV or AIDS to zero.
Whilst for Nepal this may be a first but for Nikesh Thapaliya this is only one in a collection of the world records that he holds already. Nikesh currently holds the records for memorizing capitals of 215 countries, reciting/writing US states and reciting US states with respective capitals the fastest.
Great job by the group in setting the record and opting to pick a great message to spread.

Thanks a lot to Lex,
We at YES! Club World-Nepal are extremely glad for the post at your website and the popular blog among all.
Best wishes to you 🙂
Wow!!! This is an amazing idea! Well done you all! Congrats Nikesh 🙂
GREAT! Unfortunately, media in Nepal do not give emphasis to any such event of international importance. That SUCKS!!! They only have those unimpressive political issues or any neta’s piece of fake speech or cover any publicity seeking overrated celebrity or vulgar photos of so called ‘upcoming models’… Thanks Lex for circulating the news of this event to your readers worldwide… Thumbs Up, Nikesh and group!
I was already kinda a fan of this guy Nikesh. Now there has been a reason to adore him even more… Keep up your good deeds!
Much Love
L.S.
