Fashion shows are becoming quite a trend in Kathmandu. Unfortunately, the many faces you see gracing the events to modelling the wears have also become all too familiar. The same models, the same show-stoppers, DJ’s and so on. THE RUNWAY took place on Saturday 26th January at the Hotel Radisson. The event was managed by WhatNext Events and Warehouse Designer. Before you ask, it was showcasing the finest wear by designer Subexya Bhadel. Having dressed countless beauty queens and celebrities, wearing a Subexya Bhadel product is quickly becoming quite the ‘in’ thing. Apart from her collection, the models were seen flaunting different high-street to designer brands currently being retailed by Warehouse Designer, a new venture started by aspiring Nepali entrepreneurs from the UK and Nepal which aims to deliver fashion products from London to Nepal. Online shoppers will be able buy clothes seen on River Island, H&M, ASOS and New Look from the comforts of their home in Nepal.

Even though the faces and the show-stoppers are familiar (some of the clothes too), the models look beautiful, fine and fierce! Kudos to Sakil Kunwar on hair and make-up. I have to say that Asmita looks great, that gaze is pretty intense and Nisha Adhikari is looking so good lately. Photos of her from several fashion shows earlier on were not that flattering but Miss Adhikari totally seems to be bringing sexy back. Thank you to Shahnawaz & Rajeeb from SnapsNepal.com for the photos.
