BIG cinemas will come into operation from February 12th 2010 which also marks the release of My Name is Khan in the country. The multiplex which is located at the popular hub City Centre Mall in Kathmandu is brought to Nepal by the Reliance Mediaworks which is a pioneering company in India. The new cinema will have three individual screens which together will accomodate 900 viewers. BIG Cinemas have plans for two more branches in the city soon.
City Centre Mall also has a fully equipped food court which is one of the best in the city, arcade area, 4D Cinema and a range of shops offering designer goods. I guess this is the Number 1# Mall in the city. This will bring fresh competition to Jai Nepal, Kumari, Gopi Krishna and Guna Cinemas. Quest Entertainment is in the process of unveiling new cinemas at the upcoming Civil Mall at Sundhara.
