TGIF – 3D Hits Nepal

We’ve already got the 4D cinema experience in Kathmandu so it was just a few months wait until 3D would hit Kathmandu. Guess What, IT HAS. Kumari Cinema has started its first 3D screening as of today and they’ve kick started this with the re-screening of the Global Blockbuster Avatar. The balcony seat price is expected to cost NRS 350 which I would say is pretty cheap compared to the international rates and there isnt a lot of difference between a normal and a 3D ticket too. Check out the Jai Nepal website for more. PS. Jai Nepal/Kumari cinemas seems to have gone big style with Nepali films too, Hifajat – a movie starring Rekha Thapa and Aryan Sigdel is also being screened at Kumari. Quest Entertainments new multiplex will soon be open from mid May.
