So after a gap of many months, Nepal finally has a new Prime Minister. Give your warm wishes to Mr Jhalanath Khanal of CPN-UML. Yes he is the man who was recently slapped by Devi Prasad Regmi, a normal frustrated Nepali citizen. Aside from congratulating our new PM I think we must applaud Maoist leader Prachanda’s move towards the end of the PM race. While quitting his PM’s bid, Dahal said he `sacrificed’ his candidacy to “help form a government that would safeguard nationalism, independence and sovereignty”. It may also be due to no such signs of him winning but who cares, Well done Prachanda! The move has been made now let’s hope for some changes… I cannot help but get a bit tired of hoping though.
