Over £300 Raised for Amit

Around a month ago I had blogged about a Nepali student called Amit Baruwal Chhetri who drowned to death in Brighton on June 19 2012. Since then Amits funeral took place in North London on 11 July where his relatives and friends made up the attendance. None of his immediate family members from Nepal were present at his funeral in London. As per the decision made by his relatives in the UK his body will not be flown to Nepal. On the previous post I had shared account details where you guys could deposit your donations and I also shared a paypal account information of mine. Donations from near and far poured in for Amit and those donations have been used to pay off the cost for the funeral. Any surplus amount that remains will be sent to Amits family in Nepal to support them financially. The list below includes the names of the people that donated via my paypal account. A total of £310 has been deposited by me to Mr Bal Raj Chhetris account (Amits relative).
