Apart from becoming the Miss Nepal World 2012, Shristi Shrestha is also WWF’s current Young Conservation Ambassador. Her WWF Nepal duties has seen her plant trees, take part in elephant polo and also visit the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area to learn about snow leopard monitoring. The latter being my most fascinating area to observe! Lovely perks one receives for becoming a Miss Nepal. Great job Shristi.
Shristi made the trip in early November 2012. The photos and captions are from WWF (Nepal). And below is an exclusive photo released by the WWF Nepal recently of a snow leopard captured by a remote camera trap on March 23, 2012 in Kanchenjunga Conservation Area.Join Lex on Facebook!

Snow Leopard Captured on Camera
that pic looks alike shristi forced that little girl to sit beside her and take a picture
Did she actually do anything there except pose?? Do something useful. Build a school, offer labour for charity etc. Just looks like she makes herself up and then just stands around looking pretty in front of others. I don’t get how she helped with learning to monitor snow leopards, she posed then left. So she planted a couple of trees, big whoop!
