Malvika Crowns Parina Subba Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2012

Congratulations to Parina Subba for becoming Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2012. The new beauty queen was crowned by former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba on the 23rd of December. Malvika had also anchored the beauty pageant alongside Pradeep Malibul. The event which was organised by Miss Hong Kong Nepal Society aims to provide a platform and promote young Nepalese women living in Hong Kong. Parina recieved a cash prize of $10,000 HKD. The first runner-up title was bagged by Manisha Rai who also took home the $5,000 HKD prize money followed by second runner-up Pramila Thapa who received $3,000 HKD for her win. Former Miss Nepal 2010 Zenisha Moktan was also at the event. Zenisha was one of the several judges. The beauty queen was last spotted at the Miss UK Nepal 2012 beauty pageant where she was one of the several judges.

The gown worn by Malvika Subba has been designed by Bishwo Gautam. The fashion designer has created many amazing pieces including several worn by Shristi Shrestha during her Miss World journey. The dress looks nice from a distant but I’m not quite sure about the grey-feather like texture on the top part, what do you guys think?
