Inter-University Nepali Dance Competition 2013

Known for pulling off countless events throughout the academic year, Surrey University Nepalese Society (SUNS) is following up their recent Inter-Uni Basketball Tournament with the upcoming Inter-Uni Group Dance Competition on Saturday, March 9 at the University of Surrey premises in Guildford. The society was awarded the “Best International Society of the Year 2012” by Surrey Student Union. SUNS extends its invitation to all Nepalese Societies from different universities in the UK to participate at the inter-uni Nepali dance competition. Like all tournaments and events, there is an entry fee of £100. The society has been devoting its time and effort to increase their funds to reach their goal which will see the members conducting a Health Camp Project in Nepal; another great move by SUNS. No competition is complete without a prize, the winning team will be taking home £500 cash prize, whilst the teams that acquire the second and third spots will receive £300 and £200 respectively. Even if you aren’t dancing, don’t forget to come and support your team or friends, tickets to view the event costs only £5.

Interested societies are asked to apply by the February 9. For urgent queries dial 07588133633 to talk to a member of SUNS.
