Who would’ve guessed that there’s a gem of a place quietly tucked in one side of Stratford, home to the London Olympics 2012. The o12 Bar and Grill Restaurant is only a few minutes walk from the Stratford tube station and the all too visible Westfield shopping center. The restaurant which has been under Nepali management since 2012 has been catering to those living in the area, Nepali celebrities and politicians during their visit to London sahar and even the Nepali Olympic and Paralymic team when they were here last year. Unlike other Nepali restaurants serving in the UK, o12 is a fusion of East and West.

Whether you want a quick momo or chow-mein or fancy having fish & chips, o12 serves the best of both worlds. Well, at least from the Nepalese and British side. The space that the restaurant occupies is very much alive with non-stop chart music and even live music and DJ’s on Friday nights and selected Saturdays. There is also a separate area for those that enjoy the peace and quiet with their meal. The menu is ideal for those wanting a quick bite and you’ll be impressed with their fast service as well.

Apart from the yummy food that can do no wrong, o12 also has quite a drinks menu! The bar serves a wide range of fresh cocktails. Whether you drink alcohol or not, there’s an exciting drink for everyone. I suggest you try something new there. And if you’re with friends or in a bigger group then why not ask for a cocktail pitcher.
