The first ever Councillor Cup will be taking place on Saturday, 23rd November from 9AM onwards. The sporting event has been organized in memory of the late councillor Gam Gurung, a former Gurkha soldier and a councillor for Colliers Wood. The organizers of the event invite players from all backgrounds stating “It has always been a dream of our dear Mr Gurung to organize an event like this and bring the youths together from not only our Nepalese Society but also from other backgrounds.” Entry fee for the tournament is £180 and the last date of entry is on the 18th of November. There is a strict rule of no metal studs on the pitch and for more information you can contact Deependra or Sanjiv on the numbers given on the poster above.
