Quality Education Nepal is a newly registered non-governmental organisation (2014) with a key objective to uplift the quality of education in Nepal. With unsatisfactory SLC results every year, there is a strong need to research and address the existing education system in the government schools and private boarding schools of Nepal. There are many groups and NGO’s already working towards the betterment of education for the current and future batch of students in Nepal and we need more of them to work diligently to investigate the strengths and weaknesses in order for us to build stronger students who will excel beyond the comforts of their schools and when the opportunity arises for them to work or live outside of Nepal.
Educators and students must experience more practical form of learning…. Anyways’ the Walk-a-thon by Quality Education Nepal took place early on Saturday 13th September from 7AM onwards. The starting point was at Mangalbazaar and the walk concluded near Satdobato. The walk-a-thon was organized very well with several water-breaks along the way and even some snacks when we finished near Satdobato! I was pretty impressed with the turnout at the walk-a-thon, a lot more people joined along the walk too!
Well done to the QEN Team.
