With the tourist season approaching rapidly, tourism industry stakeholders and the Nepali diaspora community have been trying their very best to spread positive message about Nepal. Halfway around the world in the resort town of Phuket in Thailand, the Ambassador for Nepal HE Khaga Nath Adhikari attended an event to drum up support to reboot Nepal’s tourism sector. During the event, the ambassador also told friends of Nepal and the attendees that Nepal is not “completely destroyed”.
Phuket resident Daeng Limbu is an active member within the Thai Nepalese community in the country. Limbu who has been involved in many Nepal promotional activities and campaign in Phuket and wider areas has vowed to continue his efforts in promoting Nepal as a travel destination and educating people of Thailand about Nepali tradition and culture.
