There are many hurdles and major setbacks one may face in life but it is what you do after that which is important. A group of Gurkha soldiers who were injured during their mission in Afghanistan have formed Gurkha Warriors, an outlet that will be organising events in the remembrance of their late brothers and fellow soldiers who died fighting.
The Gurkha Warriors will be hosting the Fallen Heroes Cup on Saturday, July 16 in Folkestone. The 7 a-side Fallen Heroes Cup football tournament is the first event being held in the memory of the fallen heroes.
Interested teams are encouraged to participate and fill in soon as the tournament only takes 25 teams with maximum 10 players each. The winning team will receive the trophy, medals and a cash prize of £2000 GBP followed by £600 GBP cash prize and medals for the first-runner up and £250 GBP cash prize for the second-runner up.
