International Nepalese Film Academy (INFA) which previously screened the film GAJALU in UK cinemas Cineworld and ODEON for the very first time have confirmed that the next film from Nepal to screen in the UK cinemas will be PURANO DUNGA! The film which burst into popularity with the song NIRA JAILE RISAUNE stars Dayahang Rai and Priyanka Karki in the lead. It will also be the second Nepali film to screen in the UK cinemas nationwide (at selected cinemas across the UK).
The film is expected to release in the UK a week after the Nepal release on November 25. The INFA team have announced a Purano Dunga dance competition where they hope dance lovers and fans of Dayahang and Priyanka will dance to NIRA JAILE RISAUNE for their chance to grab exclusive tickets to the UK premier of the film on top of gifts by director Ram Babu Gurung. Purano Dunga will most probably be screened in Cineworld, ODEON and Vue Cinemas in the UK.
The film which tells the tale of two brothers and an ongoing conflict stars Maotse Gurung, Menuka Pradhan, D.B. Gurung and Buddi Tamang.

SYNOPSIS
Purano Dunga is a typical Nepali movie that tells a story of a small fisherman family living in the edge of the Begnas lake, Pokhara.
Bhakte and Batase, two brothers, living their own dreams and struggling with their own crisis for survival in the Pokhara city.
Bhakte, as a fisherman, is not able to fulfill the basic need of his family. Batase an unemployed youth, is crazy behind a girl name Chandu, a Local Dohari Singer, and wants to marry her.
Growing desires of the immature Batase and his limited resources creates a conflict between these two brothers.
The movie will unfold the conflict between these brothers and their brotherhood.
Terms and Condition for the Purano Dunga Dance Competition:
1. You can have a normal entry with dance video recorded through iPhone or hand held camera.
2. All age group can take part in the competition.
3. You can participate as SOLO, DUO, TRIO or in a group.
4. Entries uploaded after the deadline will be disqualified.
5. The winning entry will be selected on the basis of – composition, drama and musical aspects of the choreography, originality and ingenuity.
These regulations will go into effect today (Nov 8). The final submission date is 20th November. To complete and submit your entry, you must upload the video on the Facebook page of INFA (click here). It is a requirement of the participant to post their recorded dance video online for the competition to enable the use and download the file by the organizer.
