Nepali Fans At Justin Bieber’s Mumbai Concert

Justin Bieber‘s first concert in India seems to have many people complaining. The ‘SORRY’ singer brought his PURPOSE World Tour to Mumbai on 10th of May to a packed DY Patil Stadium where thousands of Beliebers, celebrities to politicians attended the concert. A number of well known Nepalese celebs also attended the concert including Sabin ‘Beest’ Karki of Cartoonz Crew, model Aditi Budhathoki and Paramita Rana! But one of the most interesting story is of SUPER FAN, 19 year old Aishwarya Rai who travelled all the way from Nepal and camped out at the airport with fellow Bieber fans waiting for the pop superstars arrival. The Nepali superfan was also covered by Indian press MID-DAY!

Aishwarya shared that she had a tough time in the beginning to convince her parents to let her travel to attend the concert. “My parents have supported my interests, but they were not sure about letting me come here alone. Many of my friends wanted to join me, but either their parents didn’t allow them, or they had financial restraints. Thankfully, for me, the path was clear. I have been waiting for this moment for many years,” said Rai, to Mid-Day. Thankfully she was with friends, fellow JB fans who she met through the online world.

Even though there have been many negative tweets, statuses and articles about the concert online (mainly for lipsyncing and his outfit it seems), I am sure for fans like Aishwarya, this was a treasured moment which they had been waiting for years!

Yesterday was totally awesome. Got to witness amazing lighting, sound, stage design and of course great performances from Alan Walker and JB. Good times!
