Limbu. A tribe that hails from the eastern foothills of the Himalayas. Together with the Rai people we form an ancient confederation known as ‘Kirat’.
Having fought for the British for over 200 years – there is now a contingent of serving and ex Gurkha families in the UK. It is a delight to see the young and old preserving our culture all the while integrating with a British identity.
