Yeti Airlines Welcomes First ATR 72-500 Aircraft

Yeti Airlines has finally welcomed its ATR 72-500 aircraft in its family! The airlines which currently operates BAe Jetstream 41 aircraft welcomed the new aircraft on Sunday afternoon at Tribhuvan International Airport. Whilst it is great news that new airlines are joining the Nepali skies and existing ones are increasing their fleet, unfortunately the size of the only international airport in Nepal remains the same. Yeti’s ATR 72-500 twin engine turbo-prop aircraft will seat up to 78 passengers.

The aircraft is expected to serve passengers on the Kathmandu – Biratnagar and Kathmandu – Nepalgunj sector. The airline which has been famously know for its ‘Fly On Time’ slogan has had various hiccups in the past when it came to flying on time. Hopefully the airline is able to keep to its words and get passengers from A to B on time. OR as I always say, communicate what’s happening to passengers to that they are made aware of any changes or delay.

Happy Flying!
