[The performance took place before the passing away of Chester Bennington]
The recent passing away of Chester Bennington has saddened fans across the world. The Linkin Park frontman was adored by millions and it comes as no surprise that Nepal’s very own metal band Underside too was deeply saddened by the news of the rockstars death. The UNDERSIDE had performed the song NUMB to a packed venue at Purple Haze several years ago. Even though this performance was from before the passing away of Bennington, there is so much energy in the performance and atmosphere. It’s uplifting!
Linkin Park and Chester Bennington, through music, spoke to millions of people of all different ages at different times in their lives. Many have paid tribute to the frontman and shared their story on becoming his fan in the past few weeks. The UNDERSIDE left no stone unturned with this absolutely incredible performance of NUMB.
The band just played at the Jolly Rogers Festival in Austria. They will soon head over to London to play a special gig as well as release their album Satan In Your Stereo on Saturday, 19th August.
