Organised by the Audeamus Music Foundation and featuring British conductor Nicholas Carthy and American violinist Anne Ristorcelli, the Audeamus Music Festival featured AMF’s flagship orchestra, the Kathmandu String Ensemble with nineteen string players. The instruments included were violin, viola, cello, double bass, concert flute and clarinet. With over 400 people in attendance, the event was marked as a fundraiser for AMF’s partner organisation IMPACT SCHOOLS. The foundation plans to conduct music outreach projects with Impact School’s Modern Model Residential School in Kalikot, Karnali within this year.
The music festival took place at the Rastriya Nachghar in Jamal on 4th of November 2018.
