We All Have Mental Health is a video that can be a good resource for children and young people. I would recommend this to be shown by educators. Talking about mental health is a way to normalise it. Mental health is as important as physical health and every one has mental health.
If you suffer from mental illness or you simply cannot explain what you feel then please do not go through it alone and reach out to someone you can trust and open up with. Many countries have different services and helpline available too.
My personal approach to helping myself is by writing. When I write in my journal, I can let go of the baggage or whatever that may be clouding my thoughts.
On World Mental Health Day, October 10, Twitter and different social networking websites is buzzing with statistics, personal stories and various recommendations. Do not feel disheartened if recommendations has not worked for you. We’re all different and you know yourself the best. Be patient with yourself and take each day as it comes.
Remember, that one thing you find positive – hold onto it tight. Hope 🙂
If you know or have good resources to showcase for education and to educate people about mental health in Nepal or Nepali (videos/images etc) then please share with me and I would happily circulate across my platform.
PS. The video is by Anna Freud NCCF
