Nepalese businesses in the UK are scaling their efforts to support frontline keyworkers and charities. De’Lounge Aldershot this week showed their support by distributing chicken biryanis to Frimley Park Hospital and Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. The Aldershot based bar/lounge surprised the NHS staff with 50 boxes each to the hospitals.
Located in Camberley, the Frimley Park Hospital employs many Nepalese staff across the medical facility. The Aldershot based lounge/bar has continued with delivery services during weekends and hopes to be back in operation when the time is right. Dipesh Rai, from De’Lounge shared “In this time of uncertainty, we thought we could atleast show our appreciation to all the health care workers who are working selflessly to help fight against Covid19. This was simply a token of appreciation from the De’Lounge family to all our health heroes for everything they are doing to save lives”.
