Nepal Airlines only remaining plane which was grounded earlier during the week at Tribhuwan International Airport after a mouse was spotted in the cabin flew to Kuala Lumpur after being grounded for 11 hours and the original flight to Bangkok was cancelled. Now the same plane has been grounded in Hong Kong International Airport after a mouse was spotted in the cockpit. According to airline official’s the mouse seen at Hong Kong airport is not the same as before. Apparently their engineers have photographs of the previous mouse which died in sticky glue.
Looking at this positively! It’s great how the team at NAC and the airport authorities are acting on it and not letting the plane fly. Such cases with small rodents being found on planes is not uncommon. Just earlier this year few airlines in the UK also had rodents roaming around which delayed the flight. Nonetheless, if the first mouse jumped out from the food catering box then NAC should seriously take this matter up with them and conduct regular hygiene checks!
