The Miss World journey has started for over 100 girls and one of them is our very own Malina Joshi, Miss Nepal 2011. Malina who arrived in London only last week has been undergoing training from learning various traditional dances to working out. The Miss World participants have now moved to Edinburgh for the next few days for their training before returning back to London for their grand finale on the 6th November!
Malina’s looking dami and no I’m not saying that because I was born in Dharan.

I heard some saying that she is ugly and would be a shame for nepal well I wanna say they are wrong I think she is beautiful and no to win a pageant one doesn’t only need beauty but brains as well. I got to know through samridhhi’s blog that she gave an impressive answer in miss nepal
I’ve heard a lot of people whining about Malina being crowned Miss Nepal, and to be honest, I wasn’t that pleased when she first won the title either. It seems she is trying her best though, and she’s making great progress – she looks fab in her current pics. Good luck Malina!

And, hmm I really think our beauty queens need to be groomed more before going on international levels, maybe for a year at least? :/ I feel like they win the Miss Nepal crown and in just few months they head off to Miss World, Miss Earth, and so on….Former beauty queens have been to the international stages and they know how its like. So, they should spare some time from their hectic schedule and help the new bees shine through. Lets not blame the government, politics and judge panel of national beauty pageants. Rather, support them make our country proud…who knows maybe someday soon we’ll get to see Miss Nepal reach top 5 and/ they may even bring the crown home? 😀

first of all congrats malina for winning miss nepal title 2011. i think people who think u r not prety enough to win the crowd are wrong u look stunning fit and fresh and confident in ur miss world pic.i really like the way u give ur introduction in miss world u were awesome and confident .u look like a very nice person .u have everything require to win this crown .be confident do ur best don’t worry abt the result make us our country proud good luck and all the best malina u can do it
