Signature Campaign Week in Dharan!

If there’s a page on Facebook which is about bringing the community together then it definitely is We Dharane, the online community has been very successful in the past and present of bringing the community of Dharan together in organising street clean-ups, temple clean-ups and even Dharan Run’s which take place frequently. This time around was a signature campaign. Possibly the first one to have taken place in Nepal; over 1000 signatures were collected in the town centre from old to young men and women of diverse castes and professions. The collected signatures was to raise awareness about the high service charge in acquiring blood and to put pressure on organisations such as Red Cross society to make the fee affordable.
