Valentine’s Cruise Party in Sydney!

It’s not only the Nepalis in the UK who will be celebrating Valentines eagerly this year as a Valentine’s Cruise Party will also be taking place in Sydney on the 11th Feb! The party which is being organised by Mr Nepal Australia Dharmaraj Adhikari alongside UNAE will be contributing financial assistance to Special Olympics Nepal (SON). SON is a non profit organisation that believes in the empowerment of individuals with disabilities discover and strengthen their sport related skills! More lowdown on SON and the event below. About Special Olympics Nepal(SON) :

Special Olympics Nepal is voluntary, not profit, non governmental organization. Established in 1987, SON has gradually grown in participant numbers and quantity as well as quality of programs that are offered. It is the aim of SON to offer a variety of sports and development programs, year round training and regular competitions throughout out the country. SON has offered 6 sports (athletics, football, Motor Activities Training Program, Boccee, Table Tennis and cricket) This year SON is planning to introduce 3 more sports i.e Basketball, badminton and floor hockey. More than 4000 ID athletes have been playing Special Olympics Games since it establishment.
