Just read an article on ‘Unsafe, Illegal abortion in Nepal’… the main thing I want to share and make more people aware of is that abortion is legal in Nepal. If ever you come across a moment in life where you or your partner [friends/relatives.etc] are having to opt for an abortion then please consider seeking a government-approved clinic. Reading the article, it’s come across that many in Nepal, especially those living in the rural areas and some in urban areas are not aware of abortion being legal which has led to many undertaking illegal abortions being conducted in polyclinics that are putting women in danger.
