APABAD Impresses Audience

Apabad successfully completed its screening in Blandford Camp on Saturday 4th August. The screening was held inside the army barracks for the serving Gurkhas and their families. It was the fourth screening of the film in the UK and also the very first time a Nepali film was screened at The Forum cinema. The film which has previously been showcased in London, Folkestone and Aldershot has enjoyed positive response by the audience. Nepali Chalchitra and lexlimbu who are currently managing and organising the screenings will be taking APABAD to it’s next scheduled show in Doncaster on 18th August. More screenings are to be confirmed within the next few weeks. 

APABAD Screens in Doncaster

Over seventy people attended the screening of APABAD in Doncaster on 18th August, the screening was the very first for a Nepali movie in the small Nepali community of South Yorkshire. Nepali Chalchitra and lexlimbu also donated £50 towards Aama Samuh Doncaster for their effort in preserving and promoting Nepali traditions and festivals. The donation to Aama Samuh was received by Mina Pun. Apabad will screen in Nuneaton, Ashford and Woolwich soon.
