Kathmandu was abuzz with glam and fashion last night when Vootoo Entertainment presented TRENDSETTERS ‘Redefining Nepali fashion’ at Hotel Yak and Yeti. The event had the participation of dozens of familiar faces from the Nepali showbiz scene including Malvika Subba, Jharana Bajracharya, Priyanka Karki and more. Huge thanks to Anjil Maskey and ktmsearch.com for sharing the photos. It surely looks like an event that was not to be missed. Jharana Bajracharya looks absolutely amazing. What do you guys reckon? I’m not quite sure about the designs that Malina Joshi and Yachnit Sjb Rana have been photographed wearing. It looks heavy, dark and vampire-ish. The dress worn by Sadichha Shrestha looks very outer-spacey. Well fashion is fashion, I’m sure there’s a meaning behind it all. Nonetheless, Subeksha Khadka and Karma look dashing as a duo on the catwalk. So suave and elegant too. Tenzin Tseten Bhutia’s KETI collection looks dozens time better than the previous Le Melange. Kudos and a round of applause to Vootoo entertainment for bringing all these designers, fashion houses and the faces onto one big stage!

FEMININEEEEE, BOLDDDDDD AND BEAUTIFULLLL 😀
@House of Fashion’s arty collection ROCKED the show! It reminded me that Fashion is all about having FUN! Finally someone bold enough to try something different, over the top and make a TRUE FASHION STATEMENT!
LEX gets it wrong when he says outer spacy…should be ARTY 🙂 and phew..Sadichha Shrestha looks AWESOME-JAW DROPPING-BREATH TAKING…great going girl…make the country proud and cheers to you for being bold enough to wear such innovative designs…taking the local fashion scene to new heights.
house of fashion collection was hideous.looks like some undergrad fashion student collection.
agree with the 2nd commentor in appreciating house of fashion..And no it does not look hideous. I guess people R not used to seeing such collections in Nepal. SEE ftv for example…some collections are just for FUN and not everything needs to be wearable.
Saw house of fashion collection in their FB page. Me being a fashion student reallyyy appreciated the use of different elements other than the other designer’s collection which are almost the same all the time. keep it up. and Loved Anu’s comment. Sadichha you loook amazing and appreciate your bold move..big fan…
lex the dresses worn by malvika malina and sth rana are from Nilima Maden. She is the new talent in fashion industry. She also made one of the dress for miss nepal to wear in miss world this yr.
The only LAdy that can make it in a ramp walk is PRIYANKA KARKI. The worst i guess is none other then the undeserved unlimited useless YOUR (NOT MINE) MISS NEPAL MALINA JOSHI..
U R joking right? house of fashion was amazing. do u know their designer just got offered to design for a hollywood movie. looks like the foreigners saw the talent but not you. Nepali designers have made it finally
