American television personality Billy Bush is currently in Nepal filming for an upcoming National Geographic Special set to air later this year. The ‘ACCESS HOLLYWOOD’ reporter who is usually seen interviewing celebrities such as Brad and Angelina will be exploring the poaching culture in Nepal and also visiting a prison in Kathmandu to meet the poachers doing their time. The focus of the documentary will be on the endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros. It will also feature other endangered animals that have made Chitwan National Park their home. The team stayed at the Safari Narayani Hotel in Chitwan. Billy will also be seen absorbing the culture with a tour of Kathmandu planned for the TV star.
“This will truly be a journey of a lifetime,” says Bush. “The trip to Nepal will be a huge departure from my daily routine in Hollywood, but I am excited to visit such a beautiful place and to come face to face with remarkable creatures that desperately need the world’s help.”
The star is set to return to the US this weekend. Follow his updates on twitter and check out his special Wild Billy blog for more info and photos. This is the best news in a while, I can’t wait to see the National Geographic special, love that channel!
