Facebook was abuzz with people sharing their photos from the recent Universal Religion Nepal festival and after flicking through various photography pages, I knew I had to share this mountain madness. This party paradise of an event kicked off in the peaceful ancient town of Bandipur on 26 April and continued till 29th April. This years festival marked the 8th edition of the tribal gathering where “musicians and artists, dancers and performers came together to share a thrilling journey in the world’s most spiritual and divine location – the Himalayan mountains”. There were countless DJ’s from all over the world including Brasil, Israel, Switzerland, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, India and of course, Nepal. Tickets for the festival were priced between $60 – $80 (dependent on the phase of sale). It looks amazing; the stage decor, the people and the style that they brought as well. I shall definitely have to put this on my To Do list – I just hope they clean the place up well afterwards.
