Good news for fliers!

Turkish Airlines will be starting direct flights between Istanbul and Kathmandu from the 1st of September, 2013. The airline will be conducting four flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The airline which has a fleet of over 200 aircrafts will be flying the Airbus A320 to Kathmandu. The entry of Turkish Airline into Nepalese skies marks the re-entry of a European airliner. Hopefully, Nepal will start seeing a growing number of tourists from Turkey! Or the link-up to Istanbul will prove to be a much better transit for fliers heading to the West. Now can we please have a London – Kathmandu route, like Please!
