New York based Nepali designer Prabal Gurung will be taking over the skies. Prabal who has dressed from Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama to Kate Middleton will be designing the uniform for Japan’s largest airline All Nippon Airways or ANA as most know it by. Over 10,000 ANA staff are expected to wear designs by Gurung from late 2014. Talking about this new hot hook-up, Prabal shared “the new uniform will pay homage to the history of the airline while incorporating a fresh and modern perspective”. His last collaboration venture with retail-chain TARGET was a massive sell-out.
