Thrill-seekers will be glad to know that a tandem skydive will only cost Nrs 35,000 (for Nepali nationals) in Pokhara. The dives run on a fixed schedule once a year every November. If you are experienced enough to do the dive by yourself then a solo dive will cost $150 USD. The dive dates for this year runs from 8th to 17th November, 2013. Everest Skydive in partnership with private domestic airline company Tara Air, launched skydiving in Pokhara in 2010.

The jumps and landings take place at the Pame Danda drop zone, West of Fewa Lake in Pokhara.

From paragliding, ziplining, ultra-light aircraft to skydive, Pokhara is definitely the hub for all things thrilling! This is definitely something that I want to do when I’m in Nepal.

PS. Those that can stretch their pockets can opt for the stupendously expensive Everest Skydive!
